Beginning as a vision in 1988, Scott Howard started Howard Site Design (HSD) as a design + build landscape architectural firm, with a focus on residential and commercial projects.  His design of outdoor and public space provided solutions that exceeded client expectations.  Through hard work, creativity, and persistence, HSD expanded their capabilities with the addition of Scott Fairbairn.  By combining Howard’s design creativity and Fairbairn’s multidisciplinary background, Howard - Fairbairn Site Design (HFSD) has evolved into a comprehensive landscape architectural firm, providing innovative services to architectural / civil engineering design disciplines and municipal / private clients.  HFSD’s success as a comprehensive landscape architectural firm is based on the following objectives:
